Since 2002, the DMV has operated out of a temporary office la cantera mall on Archibald Avenue at Ninth Street. The new building at 8629 Hellman, la cantera mall north of Ninth Street, is currently under construction. "We're moving in March of 2012 or February depending on how fast things go," DMV spokeswoman Jan Mendoza said. When the new office opens, the Archibald location will close.
