The Washington State Department of Revenue (DOR) has scheduled its annual ДЌestlice Local Government ДЌestlice Partnership meetings , one in Western Washington ДЌestlice at Tumwater on June 4th, and another in Eastern Washington at Pasco on June 11th. This is a great opportunity to share information between local governments and the DOR. Registrations for the Pasco meeting are very light (only 4 people as of April 3), but space is limited so if you want to participate don t delay, register early. Both meetings offer free CPE credits and the Tumwater meeting can also be attended remotely via WebEx.
The agenda for the meetings ДЌestlice is currently under development so if there are items of interest you want to share with your colleagues in other agencies or with the DOR, please share your ideas for topics. DOR strongly encourages ДЌestlice local participation and involvement to help develop communication tools and agenda items that enhance local tax administration. You have the opportunity to make these meetings just that much more valuable. There is a space on the registration form for your ideas and comments, yet another reason to register early!
