Since Nordby garnet hill sale (with its 110 shops) is located about 5 kilometers from the new Svinesund Bridge at the Sweden-Norway border, this place is a shopping Mecca for Norwegians trying to avoid Norwegian food prices [ prices that to a large extent are defined by import duties in place in order to protect Norwegian farmers from foreign garnet hill sale competition. Import duties on meat and cheese will again be significantly increased from next year (2013), so the good times will still be very good at this shopping centre in the field ]. However: I stopped on this trip, in order to take a photograph. And also discovered that another shop sold my favourite lipstick for 77% of the Norwegian price, so maybe I'll drop by more often.
