This study day was used for anything other than studies. Maria and I are invited to a wedding tomorrow and needed a wedding gift and some fine jewelry and shoes. We went to Mwenge, the hub of many of daladalaene (bus / share taxi) in Dar. There is also a large market where you find most of the clothes, shoes and jewelry. This is said to be a tourist area, but if I counter with Maria and me, I saw two white people there today. It can be a bit tiring at times, for all chanting veggie grill menu "sister, sister" or "mzungu", will greet and that we should buy some of them. Mzungu means "white person" and that is something we hear constantly when we walk the streets.
