The Copenhagen Opera House was donated by Maersk in the city, built opposite groupe bernard Amalien

The architecture is reflected that Copenhagen has a rich history. Near tourist attractions like the precinct and the little mermaid look 17th century buildings such as the Rundetaarn and Kastellet, the city also has three magnificent royal palaces and of course you should not miss the picturesque colored fishermen's houses on the harbor. In addition to these historic buildings can be found in Copenhagen four modern designs that characterize the city: 1 Grundtvig Kirke.
The Grundtvig Kirke is the only landmark in this list that is not on the water, but in a residential district. You can find the church in Bispebjerg, a neighborhood outside Copenhagen, about 6 km. from the center of the city. 2. Operaen
The Copenhagen Opera House was donated by Maersk in the city, built opposite groupe bernard Amalienborg Palace complex, so that the Danish royal family could see it. Structure from their home The imposing building was opened in 2005 and stands on the banks of Holmen.
The huge auditorium is a masterpiece regarding acoustics, everything has been thought; the chairs upholstered groupe bernard with velvet sound absorbent to the distance groupe bernard between the front of the stage and behind, because that makes for the perfect groupe bernard time frame for better clarity of the opera. 3. Royal play house
The black diamond is a modern extension to the Royal Library. The building groupe bernard was opened in 1999 and is the work of Danish architect Bjarne Hammer, Morten Holm, Kim Holst Jensen, John E welding and Morten Schmidt. The 'Black Diamond' are more than 4.5 million books, and there are several exhibition spaces in the building.
A while ago, was curious visitors indicate the door because they disturb readers the library. So yes, a student in Copenhagen has an advantage with our books under their arms, we could enjoy the beautiful building.

Curator: Torgny Wilcke. Open: 31.08.2013 30.10.2013 The exhibition serves the purpose of creating an aesthetic space that includes the design tradition and the significance tk max jobs of art in order to see what happens, when art meets everyday design classics tk max jobs at Illums Bolighus. In the course of the exhibition period of Double, the furniture department is infiltrated by artistic objects that reflect everyday living and create space for a new sensation - an awareness now and here. In the familiar ambience of the department store, there are already an infinite number of visual inputs, and being accustomed to information as we are, the eye quickly scans the surroundings for focal points, while the rest is at most registered subconsciously. Yet, at a certain moment a question arises. A ladder tk max jobs of paper, a painted shelf made of boards, expressive ceramic plates being miles from the modern Scandinavian design that characterises Illums Bolighus' famous tk max jobs line of design. Something breaks tk max jobs the codes that we normally use to categorise reality and makes us stop and sense the moment in a new way. DOUBLE starts working. Art has blurred our well-tested sense of reality, and suddenly nothing is quite as it seems. In collaboration with the curator and artist Torgny Wilcke Double is Illums Bolighus' contribution the design tk max jobs week/INDEX and Copenhagen Art Week. With 44 participating artists, almost half being international contributors, the exhibition is a significant contribution as a way of exploring the interface between art and design. The concept tk max jobs behind tk max jobs the exhibition is, according to Torgny Wilcke, that the works would 'infiltrate' Illum's living section like 'maladjusted tk max jobs domestic elements' that fit into the recognisability of the design context while, tk max jobs however, deviating in some way or other by evading the functional or aesthetic norms. Double is supported by the National and International Visual Arts Section of the Danish National Arts Council and Danish Crafts. The bag, an item catalogue and the Doublebag designed by Lise Nørholm for Illums Bolighus are lanced at the opening. Illums Bolighus was founded in 1925 under the name of BO. The man behind the venture was Danish entrepreneur Kaj Dessau, who was blessed with a strong aesthetic sense as well as a flair for business. Working with his artistic consultant, Brita Drewsen, he created a concept that had never been seen before: a store with furnished interiors, where textiles and furniture interacted with art. Drewsen and Dessau's exceptional foresight and feeling for quality during the 1930s has since played an important role in the status achieved by Danish interior design internationally.

Part A few weeks back I did a blog about bObles and tumbling time written but when I was invited high end department stores along with my kids to come to Amsterdam. So now Copenhagen. I had never been there, but the city was definitely a city trip on my list to go. At once As a Scandinavian interior design high end department stores enthusiast and it could not be otherwise, of course! Saturday morning (April 26, my birthday) on the plane to CPH with my girlfriend high end department stores Pauline. Within an hour you're there. All because we have a very tasty and healthy lunch eaten with 3 other blog esters, high end department stores Charlotte Hilton CPH and Ture and Julie bObles. high end department stores After a nice and delicious lunch it was time Tumbling (this was at the Hilton Hotel). Through my experience in Amsterdam, I of course knew everything already haha :-) See my blog about Tumbling time in Amsterdam, high end department stores click here. February is of course on top and winter, but we were lucky, no rain (or snow) and even some sunshin

While Barcelona and New York City for the top of my to-go list are very long, I just had to Copenhagen. Since last summer A card from a friend who was there for her work, was enough. No sooner said than done, so I sat for the first time in three years, again in an airplane. Together with a friend, I spent about 3.5 day in the capital of Denmark, the largest city in Scandinavia: København!
February is of course on top and winter, but we were lucky, no rain (or snow) and even some sunshine! That makes such a city trip really a lot more fun. Certainly ДЌestlice we have seen run everything from the little mermaid on the north side of the old Carlsberg breweries 6 km to the south of the "hippie center" Christiania until hipster Nørrebro. Not otherwise hear on a day that also goes a step too far, but it does indicate that it is all too good amount.
Copenhagen is a beautiful city, with many imposing buildings, museums (eg the Design Museum and the NY Carlsberg Glyptotek), soothing parks and - I thought - remarkably (and beautiful) churches. Everywhere you come from Danish ДЌestlice design, it is not a big HAY showroom, or in a pub. Also shopping precinct of all major and minor design brands and provide the longest pedestrian street in Europe. For great coffee shops I refer to this list, which we gratefully - read: walked past at least 7 and 3 actually been - have made use of.
Even foodies can indulge in Copenhagen, there are some Michelin handed! Though I can not say I've eaten there, but the "little sister" of a 1-star restaurant for me as a super picky eater really already a lot. My "culinary" recommendations are the Torvernhalle the Jægersborggade (Nørrebro), the Istedgade (Vesterbro) and the meatpacking district Kødbyen.
In the above video, an article in the magazine of the railway track, the lists of visitcopenhagen.com, tips (friends) girlfriends, ДЌestlice some Google work and, of course, just some wandering we have a great time in Denmark. Even in the fresh winter Copenhagen definitely recommend a trip!
Like:
I think it's really very nice to see! Beautiful city. I do not know if I would go because I always find the opinions on Copenhagen so different over there myself soon The one think it's ДЌestlice great and the other found it extremely boring .. Hmm!
I can imagine that varying opinions. I think it's also the expectations (and of course travel party) related. Copenhagen is obviously not a very exotic city and perhaps quite comparable to a Dutch town. So in that sense it might be a bit "boring", but while you're in season but also in another country and culture ... and in terms of design, shopping, museums, culinary, cafes and bars, and so on, there are certainly plenty to do and see!
